Book Lockers are available for holds pickup and item return 24 hours a day. Hold item arrival time will depend on whether the item is on-shelf or is currently checked out to another patron, and also on when the hold is received. Book Lockers located at library branches are restocked daily with available hold items, and items are held for one week. Book Lockers that are located where there is not a library branch are restocked twice a month and items are held for pickup until the next courier visit (2-3 weeks). Please wait for notification from the library that your holds are available. Items can be returned via the book drop at hold locker locations at any time. Everyone needs food, but not everyone can easily afford groceries. The Family Food Basket in Sims is making sure no one goes hungry. They serve more than 400 families each month, and while most of their food comes from the North Carolina Food Bank, they rely on help from the community to keep everyone fed.
