Please be aware the Town is in the process of changing merchants for online and in-person credit card payments. As of Saturday, August 29 at 12:00 AM, the online bill pay portal will be closed until the new portal is available on Wednesday, Sept 2. We cannot accept any in-person credit card payments Mon, August 31, or Tue, September 1. We will resume taking in-person credit card payments on Wednesday, Sept 2. If you need to pay your utility bill during this process, please bring a check, money order or cash (exact change) to Town Hall during normal business hours or put your payment in one of the two overnight deposit boxes located at the front and rear of Town Hall.
The new, easy-to-use payment portal will provide customers with quick access to their account to view bills, check their balance, make payments and enroll in paperless billing. Features include an “at a glance” dashboard, securely storing payment information (if requested), and more automatic payment options including: choosing a specific day for payments to process, email reminders, and linking multiple accounts. For customers that choose not to create an account, they can view their current bill and make a one-time payment without registering.
A 24/7 automated payment line will be available for customers to make a payment or check a balance phone. Customers can conveniently sign up for pay by text to receive text notifications about their bill and elect to pay through text message with their default payment method.
Your next billing statement will include more detail about these new services as well as the phone number and website where you can make your utility bill payments. If you have any questions, please contact Town Hall at (252)-237-4226, by email at info@townofsimsnc.gov or by texting (252)-281-2520.
Thank you for patience and cooperation during this transition.
